At green building & design magazine, I worked as a Graphic Design Intern supporting Art Director Kristina Walton Zapata to create a variety of editorial layouts showcasing modern sustainable examples of architecture, lifestyle products, and photography of interior spaces.

A solid understanding of the brand's visual language and voice was critical to ensuring layout solutions that were consistent with past publications. In addition to layout, I also did light photo treatments, formatted the stories for web through Wordpress, and reused assets to create short promotional videos for social media through AfterEffects.
